Traditional With A Twist
Bathroom Remodel
Client Must Haves
Like most guest bathrooms, the kids’ bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Unlike most bathrooms, this one has an 18" return wall on the vanity side that constrains vanity depth. The homeowners requested individual drawer space for their three young children and that the design style be timeless allowing it to grow with the kids.
Unique Features
The new bathroom has a custom 16" deep stained rustic cherry vanity with a wall hung faucet. The vanity has three drawers–one for each child. An inset medicine cabinet and a hotel towel rack provide additional storage. The stained vanity and white subway tiles create a timeless combination. Using mixed metals--matte black faucetry with matte black and brass accessories and light fixtures give the space a modern appeal.
Client Review
“Rita was an absolute joy to work with, and she was integral in the remodel of our bathrooms! From our first meeting, I could tell that she genuinely cared about my opinions and tastes, as opposed to her own style or agenda. She listened to our needs and helped us brainstorm and design our dream bathrooms, taking into account very small spaces and the need to accommodate a growing family with 3 kids! Her expertise and help did not stop after the design - she took me shopping for materials, helped me with writing up a scope of work for bids, and coordinated the entire project with regular check-ins. She came to my home countless times and made sure that everything was going according to plan. When issues arose, she would be my advocate and help fix it right away. What stood out most about Rita is how much she cares about her clients! She really has a heart for people and truly loves and enjoys her work. She goes above and beyond to make sure the job gets done correctly. I can't wait to work with her on future projects!”
